From Off-Road Vehicles to Aero Materiel: A Journey of Passion and Technology

In this interview, we have the opportunity to get to know our new sales manager, a man with a strong passion for technology and mechanics. With over 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur and a background in selling equipment for off-road vehicles

What is your name and what role do you have here with us?

Charles Wirbergh, Area Sales Manager

Tell us a bit about your background and how you ended up here with us.

I have always been interested in technology and mechanics. I have been an entrepreneur for over 15 years, running a car workshop. For the past 5 years, I have been working for a company specializing in the sale of equipment for off-road vehicles and the planning of applications for these. Because my hobby was so closely related to my previous work, it became a bit too much. Therefore, I sought out a similar but still different (product, customer) job.

What do you think is the best thing about working at Aero Materiel?

The staff is outstanding, and the products are of very high quality.

What are your main areas of responsibility in your new role?

Off-roading is the hobby I'm passionate about. I've been doing it since I was 15 years old. I've done trial runs with motorcycles, cars, and trucks. Currently, I participate in off-road orienteering and off-road rallies with cars. It's a European version of Paris-Dakar.

Pleasant colleagues and suitable challenges.
