Meet Jonas – Our New Area Sales Manager with a Passion for Smart Solutions

With 20 years of experience in sales and a background as a UN soldier, Jonas Gustavsson steps into the role of Area Sales Manager at Aero Materiel. His goal? To build long-term relationships, challenge customers, and ensure production.

What is your name and what is your role with us?

My name is Jonas Gustavsson, and I am an Area Sales Manager.

Tell us a little about your background and how you ended up here.

I have worked as a salesperson for 20 years in industries such as manufacturing, protective equipment, waste management, and retail. I love being involved in production and making products smarter, stronger, and more profitable, as well as improving efficiency in manufacturing.

What is the best thing about working at Aero Materiel, in your opinion?

We have an incredibly strong and reliable product range, along with extensive experience and knowledge—something that is very important to me as a salesperson.

What are your main responsibilities in your new role?

To nurture and develop existing customers while creating new relationships and contracts.

What qualities do you think are important for success in your role?

Trust and credibility are essential, but it’s also important to dare to challenge the customer.

What are you most looking forward to contributing to our team?

I often say that a sales team is measured by whether a company needs to lay off or hire more employees. So, what I look forward to the most is making sure that, over time, people here will have to work even harder! 😊

Is there a specific area within your field that you are particularly passionate about?

As a former UN soldier, I would probably say the defense industry.

Besides work, what are your interests and hobbies?

My family, of course, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I also have a big passion for sports and try to stay quite active myself.

What would you say is your biggest driving force or motivation in your work life?

To make both my employer and our customers even more profitable and successful!
